Organization
Invest International opened its doors in October 2021, in The Hague. We are a state-owned company set-up by the Dutch government. A private company funded with public capital.  We are a new organization and are continuously developing. Our people are aligned with our mission and our 7 people drivers guide the way we work together.

The Public Sector Team

The Fund Coordinator is part of the Public Sector Team. This dynamic team develops, finances, and oversees large and impactful infrastructural projects in developing countries. We work closely together with our private sector colleagues and have a strong focus on climate resilience, water-infra, sustainable manufacturing, healthcare, and agri-food.

You will become part of a diverse, international team of 32 people, responsible for executing the Dutch Government’s DRIVE, D2B and ORIO programmes. We currently manage 75 projects globally with a total value of +- 670 million euros. Our yearly budget for new projects is aimed at about 200 million.

The position

You will act as a spider in the web among the 3 three Regional Teams: (1) Asia and Latin America, (2) South & East Africa and (3) West Africa & MENA. You are responsible for continuously improving all the processes involved in executing the public programmes. You also make sure that our reporting is flawless: you have insight in what is happening at project level and have all data stored correctly. In this role, you work closely together with other business units involved in our processes such as operations, legal and risk. You will report directly to the Public Sector Director.

Responsibilities

• Having all processes up and running, including alignment with other departments.

• Continuously improving processes.

• Analyzing and reporting project data on portfolio level.

• Day-to-day management of the DRIVE, D2B and ORIO programmes: liquidity management, reporting, owner of the internal fund management dashboards.

• Supporting the Public director in the collaboration with and reporting to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

• Safeguarding Invest International’s values in the core of its activities.

Position requirements

• 5+ experience in fund- or portfolio management / process coordinator.

• BSc or MSc with a background in business, finance, economics.

• Savy on processes and reporting: ability to prepare high quality reports.

• Experience with implementing an agile way of working (LEAN or Six Sigma) an asset.

• You have an entrepreneurial mindset and like to continuously learn and improve.

• Can-do mentality:  you have what it takes to work in a young organization that is building and growing.

• You are skilled networker in – and externally and have strong stakeholder management skills.

• Team player: ability to share knowledge, cooperate and bridge conflicts of interest.

• Knowledge of financial institution's internal procedures, including risk management, is preferred.

• You have excellent communication skills in English and Dutch, both verbal and written.

• Strong affinity with the mission and vision of Invest International.
