The position

In this role you will be reporting to the KYC Manager and you will be responsible for:

• Assisting with data migration and maintenance of Customer Due Diligence files that have been established by the Investment Teams.

• Providing support for Investment Teams with performing assessments in a newly launched KYC workflow tool.

• Training up as a super user for the KYC tool and becoming a liaison between Investment Teams and the tool developers.

• Coordination of KYC requests on Invest International by other institutions.

• Regularly participating in deal-team meetings to identify main KYC assessment inefficiencies and suggest solutions - in case of doubt proactively engages colleagues within the KYC Team or other respective departments.

• Monitoring and tidying the registration and sync of CDD data between the CRM tool, the KYC Tool and back up storage.

• Ensuring that all screenings are performed correctly and resolved as required.

• Other ad hoc tasks such as one-off client screenings or assisting with KYC assessments on behalf of the support units and/or the deal teams.

Requirements and characteristics

The Intern studies in a field that can be a foundation for this role or is inquisitive enough and open to get experience in a completely different field, however preference will be given to candidates who have strong IT and/or data processing skills. For e.g. Excel experts who can intuitively learn to additionally use other more advanced tools.

Furthermore, the final candidate is:

• Currently pursuing a MSc or BSc degree at a Dutch university or business school.

• Currently living in the Netherlands.

• Available for 6 months (at least 32 hours weekly).

• Fluent in English. Proficiency in Dutch or other international languages is a plus.

• Has strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills.

• Has a can-do attitude with desire to learn.

• Is an Experienced MS Office suite user.

• Has strong time management and organization skills.

• Ability to maintain strict confidentiality.

• Is looking for a fun environment to work and learn.

• Open minded, meticulous, and performs well with repetitive tasks.

• Ability to work with different teams, but also independently.

• Analytical & inquisitive mindset.

Please note that interns need to be registered as a student in The Netherlands for the entire length of the Internship.
