The positie en verantwoordelijkheden

Ter versterking van het team zijn wij op zoek naar een Investment Analyst die zijn/haar kennis en ervaring kan inzetten in het structureren en analyseren van financieringsoplossingen voor Nederlandse bedrijven die internationaal actief zijn.

Verantwoordelijkheden:

• Een Investment Analist maakt een vast onderdeel uit van het deal team, samen met de Investment Manager, die de lead heeft op een dossier en een MVO (Maatschappelijk Verantwoord Ondernemen) collega.
• Binnen het deal team is een Investment Analyst verantwoordelijk voor de bedrijfs- en financiële analyses van onze projecten. Deze analyses worden vastgelegd in financieringsvoorstellen voor onze Engagement en Investment Committee alsmede jaarlijkse reviews.
• Je structureert nieuwe transacties en draagt zorg voor het beheer van je eigen portefeuille in samenwerking met het Deal Team.
• Je bent een sparringpartner voor de Investment Manager en onze Risk afdeling.
• Je draagt actief bij aan de KPI’s van onze afdeling.

Vereiste ervaring/competenties

• BSc en/of MSc diploma Finance and Investments of gelijkwaardig in een gerelateerd vakgebied.
• Minimaal 3 jaar relevante werkervaring binnen het (Nederlandse) bankwezen als financieringsspecialist of vergelijkbare functies in andere werkgebieden.
• Bij voorkeur ervaring met het financieren van internationale activiteiten van Nederlandse ondernemingen.
• Kennis van Start-Ups en Scale-Ups alsmede bekendheid met FR&R is gewenst.
• Je bent Samenwerkingsgericht, Analytisch, kan ‘to the point’ schrijven, hebt een goede Risicohouding en bent Resultaatgericht.
• Je hebt een goede beheersing van de Nederlandse en Engelse taal, zowel mondeling als schriftelijk. Voertaal binnen Invest International is Engels, maar de informatiebasis van onze klanten is regelmatig in het Nederlands.
• Affiniteit met het creëren van impact en de Sustainable Development Goals van de UN of met een maatschappelijke rol of betrokkenheid.

The position and responsibilities

To strengthen the team, we are looking for an Investment Analyst who can use his/her knowledge and experience in structuring and analyzing financing solutions for Dutch companies that are internationally active.

Responsibilities:

• An Investment Analyst is part of the deal team, together with the Investment Manager, who is in charge of a file and an Impact and Environmental & Social Governance colleague.
• Within the deal team, an Investment Analyst is responsible for the business and financial analyzes of our projects. These analyses are drafted in financing proposals for our Engagement and Investment Committee as well as annual reviews.
• You structure new transactions, and you are responsible for managing your own portfolio in collaboration with the Deal Team.
• You are a sparring partner for the Investment Manager and our Risk department.
• You actively contribute to the KPI’s of our department.

Requirements

• BSc and/or MSc degree in Finance and Investments or equivalent in a related field.
• At least 3 years of relevant work experience within the (Dutch) banking industry as a financing specialist or similar positions in other work areas.
• Preferably experience with financing international activities of Dutch companies.
• Knowledge of Start-Ups and Scale-Ups as well as familiarity with FR&R is desirable.
• You are Collaborative Oriented, Analytical, can write 'to the point', have a good Risk Attitude and are Result-oriented.
• Main language within Invest International is English, due to the fact that our client base are Dutch entrepreneurs and our primarily information base is in Dutch, knowledge/reading of the Dutch language is preferable.
• Affinity with creating impact and the UN Sustainable Development Goals or with a social role or involvement.

Together with the other Investment Analysts, you are accountable to the Team Lead of the Investment Analysts and Manager of the SME & Mid. Corporate Team.
